From the Classroom to the Collaborative

The Instructional Edge Collaborative was founded by a passionate educator, coach, and school leader with over a decade of experience across New York City public, charter, and independent schools. From leading classrooms in Brooklyn and Queens to coaching teachers and principals in the Bronx, our founder has lived the realities of teaching and leading in NYC schools.

After years of supporting instructional growth and school culture as a teacher, coach, academic dean, and assistant principal, she launched this collaborative to bring high-quality, equity-focused professional learning directly to the educators who need it most. Her experience taught her that true transformation happens not through compliance—but through collaborative, sustained, and brilliant support.

Today, The Instructional Edge Collaborative partners with school leaders, teacher teams, and individual educators to provide exactly that.

Our mission is to empower school leaders and teachers to drive lasting change through collaborative coaching, strategic planning, and instructional excellence.

Our Mission: Empowering NYC Educators to Lead with Purpose

We believe educators thrive when they have the clarity, support, and resources to lead with purpose and teach with precision. We exist to help schools make that vision a reality—through custom partnerships that reflect the unique needs of their students, teams, and communities.

What We Believe In

  • We help educators cut through the noise to focus on what matters most—student learning and adult growth.

  • We co-create solutions with educators, not for them. Our process honors the voices and expertise of those we serve.

  • We believe instructional brilliance should be accessible to all students—and we design supports that make that possible.

  • We value the art of teaching and leadership. Our work is grounded in classroom practice, data, and reflection.

  • We don’t just lead a session and leave. We build capacity through ongoing cycles, aligned goals, and responsive coaching.
